Built on stillness

Lotus River Spa began as a family healing practice in a village outside Ubud. When the pavilions were built above the Campuhan valley in 2014, the idea stayed the same: rest is not an add-on to a holiday. Here, it is the holiday.

Herbs for the scrubs and teas still come from a garden in Tegallalang. Oils are pressed locally from coconut and frangipani. Treatments follow traditional Balinese usada practice, adapted by hand for each guest rather than by schedule.

“Herbs, hands, and time. Healing here is quiet work.”
